THE SOLUTION

The Athena CAD software has been streamlined over the years to enable users to dispatch units within seconds of a call coming in. To enhance this quick call-to-dispatch workflow, ICS has developed proprietary technology called “ClosestTo” which highlights the unit able to respond fastest to the emergency based on the GPS location of both the unit and call location.

Along with dispatching units, critical situational awareness information is also immediately relayed including incidents, resources, water sources, schools, hazards, alerts concerning residents/neighbors, riot incidents at a location, building floor plans, utilities, and even chemical/material storage information.
